ATT Sports entered rarefied air earlier this year when it became one of the only companies in the country with two Certified Track Builders on staff. Chief Estimator, Darren Anderson, earned the illustrious distinction and joined ATT Sports President Tony Cunningham as a CTB, as recognized by the American Sports Builders Association.
Those wishing to become a CTB must have a certain amount of experience before also passing a written exam, which tests everything from measurements to soil knowledge.
“I’m very excited to be able to call myself a CTB,” Anderson said. “Studying for the exam really helped me understand all the facets of track building, and knowing ATT Sports now has two CTBs on staff really makes us elite in terms of track installers.”
According to the ASBA: “The Certified Track Builder Program was developed by the ASBA to help raise professional standards and to improve the practice of track construction.”
