Rhode Island College
The old adage goes, the best ability is availability. At ATT Sports, we do think it ranks right up there with the ability to safely build the best running tracks in an efficient manner.
Rhode Island College learned the benefits of both abilities in the summer of 2023. With a track that needed to be done before the end of the year, Narragansett Improvement Company – a paving and general construction company that dates back to the 1800s – called ATT Sports.
Being specialized in track surfacing means every installation crew we employ is capable of any project. This gives us the greatest flexibility in terms of scheduling in the industry.
Working closely with Narragansett to have plans and materials approved and to mobilize in a tight window required precise and constant communication. A familiarity with the project’s architect, Kaestle Boos Associates, helped keep the pre-mobilization process streamlined, and assured the greatest level of confidence and trust in ATT Sports.
Ultimately, Rhode Island College received a Rekortan M “sandwich system” running track for its relocated facility, which includes 8 running lanes along with areas for all the events. The surface will serve the Anchormen for the next decade, and beyond.
