Mercersburg Academy, PA

Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania boasts one of the most impressive combinations of historical significance and elite athletics and academics of any school in the country. The school claims 5 Olympic golf medalists in track and field in addition to multiple heads of state and even Nobel Prize winners. Obviously, building anything on the bucolic campus (which is come to the childhood cabin of James Buchanan, the 15th President of the United States) is reserved for the best companies, hand-picked by the school’s administration.

So, it was an honor for ATT Sports to be selected to resurface Mercersburg’s running track – although not unexpected since we had installed the track previously and handled various care and maintenance over the years. Needing just a couple of weeks to install a new Rekortan RT resurface, ATT Sports transformed the track to brand new, complete with updated striping, made custom for the Blue Storm and the types of events they host.

Working at Mercersburg is always a collaborative partnership to ensure rigorous standards are met, the best products and materials are used, and work is done with the utmost respect for the history and beauty of the more than 130-year-old campus. ATT Sports thanks everyone at the school, from the Board of Regents, to facilities and athletics for helping us safely and quickly upgrade the track that will be part of the campus for another decade and more.
