If you want to see what a difference it makes when an institution cares for, invests in and prioritizes its athletic facilities, head to Kean University in Northern New Jersey.

The Cougars boast some of the best Division III athletic facilities around, and the summer of 2021 saw a major upgrade. In addition to a new Shaw Sports Turf football field, the school also opted to resurface the running track. But Kean isn’t one to do the bare minimum when it comes to athletics, so a special two-tone track with the school’s “Kean Blue” being used in the exchange zones was dreamt up. ATT Sports delivered that dream.

In a summer wrought with material delays, shortages and price increases, there was no wiggle room for error with the Cougars’ busy sports schedules. A standard – albeit stunning – resurface required supreme scheduling flexibility and constant communication to ensure the site would be safe, ready and available for athletes in multiple fall sports.

The Cougars hope to add varsity track and field to its 14 sport offerings in the future, and they have made the investment in their facilities to ensure they have what it takes to recruit the best, even in the talent-rich New Jersey area.
